Default Some AB/PVP ideas

Got a few ideas here while ABing earlier.

The first thing:

I tried to take out a mini pet but it says I can't use it in battle. I don't see why not, I think it would be neat to have a mini pet following you around while you're in PVP. But that's not a big deal.

My main issue is this:

After I died and ressed in AB, I moved my mouse to click a skill and realized it was still recharging from the last time I used it. Now, really, what's the point of that? It's not like you're in PVE, it's PVP/AB. If you die, your skills should automatically reset and be ready to use again when you res. Now, if someone used a res sig or Rebirth on you that effected your skills, yes, then they should reset. But otherwise I don't see why it's necessary.

I don't see why it's a big deal over the skills recharge.

If you used Meteor Shower, which has a 1 minute recharge, you should have to deal with that 1 minute recharge. Besides, this could get exploited somehow.

what if everyone puts out there minis in pvp?
would that make some ppl lag?
yup - it's always in the little things

Long recharge skills shouldn't have a shorter recharge just because you died. Minipets in PvP promotes lag.

Don't need something that will cause more lag in AB. And ya what Stormlord said. It would just be alot of High Time Recharge skills and then suicide to get them to recharge quickly. If you don't like the recharge time then don't take it.

Could be exploited pretty easily - Rezmer following an E/N; ele nukes, then sacs self and is rezzed in seconds, nukes again. Think of other longer recharging skills and how this could be exploited, like Dervish forms. You get the idea.

Both of those ideas are bad and would have a negative effect on PvP.

1. Minis shouldn't be in PVP. It's just one more thing to download, one more graphic for someone's computer to process. What makes no difference to one player could cost another the split second they needed.

2. Instant recharge on death WILL get exploited. Someone will make a sac + rezmer team build or something crazy like that just to get around the wait for overpowered skills with long recharge times. So no, /notsigned.

Edit: Dang, beaten to the rezmer thing. Oh well, you can see people have already thought of ways to abuse this.

Don't post if you can't flame someone.

This forum isn't about how bad or good a player is. Make your comment on the suggestion and then move on. Its not hard to explain why an idea is good or bad without bashing the person making the suggestion.

Users have been user-noted and if they continue they will be banned.

No need for minis in PvP it will just be another thing to download and keep track of.


And the recharge on skills is there for a reason. Would be exploited.

[skill]"You're All Alone!"[/skill] is effected by mini pets, isn't it? Read what has already been said. There is a reason for both. Lag can be induced by minis, and recharge is there for a REASON. If you die, things don't reset for you, and they shouldn't.
